Arsenal Du Everton in

I had had enough of the tossers in blue diving and cheating. The ref seem to book our players for every f****** little thing while Yakubu, Neville, and esp Lescoot got away with so much blatant cheating and so many blatant fouls. What pissed me off so much was the Everton fans screaming hoof everytime we cleared the ball, even though their team had done NOTHING but hoof the ball all match. Its sickening to see the long-ball tactics, I mean play football FFS.

Eduardo, Dudu, what a hero. I can see Arsene playing him alongside Ade. Its still painfully obvious that Bendtner isn't ready for regular football.

Well done boys, top of the league again. Sets up the New Year nicely for us Gooners.

Hammers up next, we'll take them comfortably. I'll update the match goals later, since I aren't at home and the internet connection I am using now is awful.

Happy New Year in advance to everyone esp. my fellow Gooners.

-The Arsenal- Match Goals--Updated

(Scroll down for Pompey match report) Vieira and Pires's goal against the scumbags that won us the title at their dump in 2004, just click and the clips will stream. The link is on the top RIGHT HAND side.

Arsenal slip at Pompey

What a shameful and gutless performance. I am getting sick and tired of 451. Adebayor is a donkey on his own up front. He needs support. It doesn't help with him getting too wide, there's no-one left to shoot or get at end of little bits and pieces in the middle. Fabregas was shocking today too. So was Hleb. We have slipped to second, with todays performance we'll get beaten at Everton and if we fall too behind Man Ure what a royal f***up that would be.

Arsene, play 442.

Almunia

Sagna Kolo Galls Clichy

Eboue Flamini Cesc Hleb

Bendtner Adebayor

This team should be alrite or maybe it wouldn't be. That's why I am a moaner and Arsene's the gaffer.

Everton up next, COME ON ARSENAL.

Arsenal 2-1 B******

That was probably the worst home performance I have seen from us, but who cares; we took home the three points. At times it was so frustrating, our players were playing at a walking a pace. Too slow at attacking and sloppy at passing. BUT this is the real good sign in a sense that we grinded out a result even when we played sh*t. Bendtner is class, I think its time he played a bit more often. I would have him in a 442 formation, time to throw out the the 451.

Overall well do to the players esp Almunia who saved us the blushes by saving that pen. Losing to Tottenham esp at home is UNTHINKABLE.

Pompey up next, very tricky imo.

Come on Arsenal!

So its AC Milan

What a match this will be. Fabs vs Kaka, Pirlo vs Flam, Gattuso vs Hleb. I have full confidence we'll beat Milan home and.....maybe away too. I think playing the best BRINGS out the best in us.

So come on ARSENAL!!

Gunners to play the Ba*tard*

Now we can whip them both home and away yet again. Also about time we won the carling cup. I was at the Blackburn game, have to say the Gunners were electric and very vocal. If we can transfer that at the Emirates we'll have the best atmosphere.

Spu*s game at the weekend: should be a cake-walk, our full team will rip them into shreds. You heard it here first.

CL draw tommrow, I would prefer Porto but then again we always go out to sh*t teams, so I'll be happy with Madrid. Howevery I would love AC Milan seeing as we have never played them. As for Barca, would also relish that, a bit of payback plus theres the small thing of Henry playing against us. (small -> sarcasm).

Come on Arsenal!!

Arsenal 2-0 Wigan

Ahh been away for some time.

Superb performance by the Gunners considering we had injuries, was cery happy with the impact Bendtner had. He changed the complexion of the game. I hope Theo doesn't stay out for long; he was also excellent today.

3 points at the top with a game in hand. Come on Arsenal.

Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal

Arsenal went to Anfield for their supposed 'first test' of the season, other fans had been trying to undermine our good start by trying to say we've not played anyone good yet.

They forgot Blackburn away,West Ham away, Sp*rs away, Sevilla at home, and now Anfield away. We didnt lose any of these games but infact only drew 2 of those, and both we deserved to win, had it not been for Lehmann in the former and bad luck in the latter, with Fabregas and Eboue hitting the post. Admittedly we should've put the rebounds away but we Fabregas and Bendtner couldnt finish into an empty net. One could say that the ball came back at them too fast. Anyway we had 66% of the possession, at ANFIELD, and we were playing a team who was supposed to challenge for the title this season. Never have I seen such negative tactics from a supposed top club, they were time wasting and cheating from the word go, their long ball tactics even made Bolton look attractive at times. And they undeservedly went up 1-0 at HT.

We came out after the interval, and played much like we had in the first half. Eboue hit the post, and Fabregas blasted the rebound wide. But then we scored in the 80th minute, with superb play from hleb who found a quality pass to slip on Fabregas who toe poked it home to make it a deserved 1-1. Then a few minutes later Fabregas hit the post from a long range effort, and the rebound fell to Bendtner who blasted it over from about 8 yards. We should've put those chances away, but you cant be too disappointed with a draw at anfield, but what frustrates us is that we should have won the game.

Next up for Arsenal is Sheffield United in the CC tommorow, and we will see Gilberto playing despite whatever the media is trying to cook up to unsettle us. I think we'll have too much for them. And our next game in the premiership is a big one against champions United. Should be a cracker of a game, and winning against them would really put us in a good position.

Arsenal 2-0 Bolton

Just finished watching the Arsenal game and another efficient performance from Arsenal. We dominated the game throughout and Bolton never looked like scoring, at all. They were a pathetic excuse for a footballing side in all honesty, and its a shame that they play in Europe, giving the EPL a bad name. They reverted back to their old kicking tactics, but this team is stronger than before, mentally especially, and it didnt seem to work, especially in the second half. In the first half we didnt really create many chances, and it seemed to look like that the Int'l break was having its effects, our older teams in the past always used to struggle after an International break, and this team seemed to be following that route in that particular trend. So we looked a bit off in the first half, and Eboue didnt seem to be too convinving on the right hand side. We had two half chances, and Adebayor blazed over. In the first half we had 7 shots overall, to Boltons 0 and 56% possession.

We came out more strongly in the second half and Eboue should've scored but he blazed wide from about 10 yards. Then we had a free kick, about 27 yards away from goal, and Kolo stepped beside Fabregas and Flamini. We've seen Kolo have a try and shoot from those sort of areas, and we've seen him come close, shave the bar, and hit the top of the stands. But this time he actually got it in! Throught a whole crowd of players. A really good goal. 1-0 up! Bolton tried to show a bit more urgency and brought on a few of their supposed attacking players, but they didnt pose any more of a threat. Arsenal had brought on Rosicky and Walcott when it was 0-0 in order to get a goal. And Walcott especially looked really dangerous, he went past several players and showed tremendous ball control and pace, he was awesome. Rosicky showed some good touches too, but he marked his comeback with a goal. Hleb fired in a good 15 yard pass, and Walcott controlled it well, took it wide, beat Campo with quick feet, and crossed it in for Rosicky who cleverly finished to make it 2-0. After that we were just passing and humiiliating the bastards. Adebayor missed several chances in the 2nd half, especially when he was put through by Fabregas from a brilliant pass, but he took it well wide and then strangely fell over.

All in all a good performance and we thoroughly outplayed them. They had a pathetic 1 shot all game, and that was off target. We had 65% of the possesion, and 19 shots on goal with 10 on target. A good performance by Arsenal, and we're still top. United are playing at the moment and are winning 2-1 against Villa.

Come on Villa!

Arsenal 3-2 Sunderland

This was one of the hardest home games we've played since we moved into our new stadium, because Sunderland just never ever game up. On the 6th minute mark, Diaby rifled in a good shot from just outside the area, but the ref decided to give us a free kick instead, due to a foul on Fabregas just outside the area in the build up. Van persie stepped up to take it, Van persie hadnt scored from a free kick this season whereas he had several in last season. He rifled an unstoppable thunderbolt into the top left corner, 1-0 to Arsenal and there was nothing the keeper could have done about it even though it was on side.

Arsenal scored again soon after, a corner was cleared to Adebayor on the edge of the area, who crossed in and Senderos scuffed his shot in from about 9 yards out. 2-0 up after 16 minutes, and we were looking great. Some people were wondering if this was going to be our famous 7-0 wins, and it could have been if Diaby's goal hadnt wrongly been ruled out for offside a couple of minutes later. Instead Sunderland pulled one back to make it 2-1 and I never thought they'd pull a 2nd back, but they did after the half time break. I was worried for a moment that we'd lose this one somehow, but Van the man wouldn't let that happen, good work from Walcott on edge of the area, turned brilliantly and crossed in for Van Persie who showed a really good touch and finished it to make it 3-2. Though Sunderland nearly equalised to make it 3-3, we held on. McShane was sent off rightly for a bad challenge on Hleb, though Hleb's fine thankfully. Other than our goals, Walcott hit the post, Toure hit the post.

Good win all in all, and thats 10 win a row. We're 2 pts clear of utd again with a game in hand, and Liverpool just drew with Sp*rs, Spurs as usual choking, with their fat c*nt in goal flapping at shots and crosses again. So now Liverpool are 6 pts behind us having played the same number of games, and Spurs look to be moving out of the relegation zone, on goal difference. Top 4, they were having a laugh.

Now a fortnight till our next game, which is Bolton at home. Liverpool's next 2 games are Everton away and us at home, it could really make or break their title challenge.

So at the end of another weekend, Arsenal still top the table. Come on you gooners.

West Ham 0-1 Arsenal

Just finished listening to the Arsenal game on radio, god the coverage was utterly sh*te, they were meant to be covering the Arsenal game but they kept switching over to lower league scores every 20s! I know they have to keep the listeners updated but try and focus a bit more on the game your trying to cover!

Arsenal dominated the first half, mainly. West Ham had a few openings, but we scored first after Van Persie brilliantly headed in a good Hleb cross. This was Hleb's first game since his recent injury and he looked quality, his dribbling and close control were absolutely magnificient and his passing was good too apparently, so all was going well for him until the c*nt Noble lunged at him, studs showing. If Mikel deserved to get sent off for this challenge the other week, Noble should be put into a cage with hungry lions. Hleb was carried off a stretcher and it didnt look good at all, but apparently its just bruising and hopefully he'll be alright. Adebayor limped off too later in the game, to a hamstring injury apparently, so we're losing a few players again to injury, but we seem to be doing well. Ex gunner freddie was playing too, and he had the ball into the net but it was offside. Thank god.

This was probably our hardest game yet, much harder than the Sp*rs one, and its games like these we have to win if we want to win the title. Van Persie scoring was good, he's scored in consecutive games now, Sevilla and now West Ham. Cant really comment on the 2nd half as the radio coverage just got sh*tter and sh*tter.

Other good news is that Chelsea drew at home to Fulham and should've lost. Drogba got sent off and apparently he ripped his shirt up in anger, he has said that the players lack motivation to play since they used to play for their other manager, the one they seemed to like. Sheva still looks sh*te, and Liverpool won away to Wigan, with a wigan player somehow heading wide from 1 yard.

Lets see what the boss says in his post match interview, lets hope we're good on the injury front and Hleb and Ade are fine.

Come on you gooners.

West Ham v Arsenal preview

So this will be one of the toughest games we've played this season so far. The one against Sp*rs away is always a difficult and we came out of that one brilliantly, lets hope for the same tommorow. West Ham have become a bit of a bogey team for us, especially since they've come up. They've won the last 3 against us, and were the only team to have doubled us last season, though lucky they were, specially against us at the Emirates, where we totally outclassed them and their goal was at least a yard outside, but at least, their previous c*nt of a manager has left.

The injury news has got a bit better I suppose with Alex Hleb passed fit and Eboue is back, who was very good against Newcastle on |Tuesday, but Eduardo and Lehmann are out along with the usual injured players which are Gallas, Rosicky.

West Ham have had a decent start to the season so far, and Arsenal have just been rolling. I think we'll put out the following team:

-------------Almunia-----------
Sagna---Toure----Senderos----Clichy
Eboue----Cesc-----Flamini-----Hleb
Van persie-----Adebayor

With Fabianski, Gilberto, Bendtner, Denilson, and Diaby on the bench.

I hope Bendtner gets a chance to come on and show what he's made of in the premiership, he's been good both times he's come on so far, against fulham and Blackburn.

We have a tough game tommorow, but we should really be winning these sort of games if we want to have any chance of winning the title, and it would be good to see an egg on the faces of the c*nts on MOTD, and especially Lawro, who reckons that we'll lose because we'll be 'claustrophobic' after we've become too used to playing on the Emirates stadium pitch and that Dean Ashton is coming back, like he's Messi or Ronaldinho and we should be afraid of him (Mind you the opposition player we slate before the game comes to bite us in the arse, Crouch, and Johnson to name as a few examples).

Lets hope for 3 pts tommorow and the other top 3 drop some more points.

Come on you gooners.

Arsenal 5-0 Derby

Just finished watching the game, top top quality Arsenal against woeful Derby. We predicted in the match preview that Arsenal would score plenty but I only had 3 in mind, the gunners came out with 5 with a hat trick from Emmanuel Adebayor. Whatever he does, you get people slating him on nearly every forum you go on. They'll complain about this and they'll complain about that but the big man always proves them wrong. Sure he can be a bit frustrating sometimes but generally you can count on him to turn up when the team needs him most and today with Van persie who was rested and was on the bench, Ade was the striker we were looking to who would get us a goal, he was alongside Eduardo who had a good game, won us a penalty and showed some good touches and skills but sometimes lacked a final ball. He'll be a real star as he settles into the prem, he's already got 2 goals and 1 assist in 2 european games hes played off the top of my head.

We started the game off with good fashion, and Clichy intercepted the ball near the halfway line after some poor derby passing. Clichy raced on towards the edge of the penalty area and delivered in a low cross which was just behind Adebayor. Now the only negative thing I would say about Clichy is his final ball-crossing. He's quick, hes skillful, and hes good defensively but sometimes his cross is really poor but hes only young yet and we already have him as one of the best LB's in the premiership. He'll be one of the top LB's in the world in a couple of years. Arsenal pressurized more and more and then Diaby, who's been the latest Arsenal player to be slated over the week, he's been called lazy and average, (Some people are never happy are they) though to be fair he's poor on the wing but he's certainly not what he's been called. Just remember how immense he was against £500m Chelsea in CC final, and how many times he left Fat Frank on his fat arse. Diaby collected the ball on the edge of the area, showed some good touches and skipped past two Derby players and then unleased an unstoppable rocket into the top right hand corner of the net. 1-0 to Arsenal.

Then Fabregas, who's been playing amazing, the simplest word to describe him, played a brilliant through ball to Adebayor, who brilliantly chested it down and went round the keeper to put us further ahead. A good goal. 2-0 to Arsenal. Then in the 2nd half, Eduardo turned in the area but he was brought down by the Derby defender. Penalty to Arsenal. Some people wanted Eduardo to take it to get him his first premiership goal but Adebayor seems to be our penalty taker these days and Adebayor slotted in the bottom right hand corner to make it 3-0 to Arsenal.

Then Fabregas, who had scored 5 goals in the last 5 games , prior to this one decided that he wasnt going to miss out on this goal frenzy. He picked up the ball outside the area and smashed it into the top left hand corner of the goal. That was 1 assist and 1 goal in this game. He truly has been sensational this season and there isn't too good a word to describe the young spanish magical midfielder. 4-0 to Arsenal. Then some Arsenal fans thought: "When was the last time an Arsenal player got a hattrick in the premiership?" Immediately Baptista's destruction of Liverpool came to mind but we were thinking about the premiership and we remembered Henry's hattrick against Wigan on the last day of the 05/06 season and the last game at Highbury, the hat trick which put us above Sp*rs. A denilson ball over the top found Adebayor, who once against showed exquisite control to chest it down, and slot it past the derby goalkeeper. 5-0 to Arsenal, Emmanual Adebayor hat trick. Lets quickly mention Denilson too, who was quality the short time he was on in the last 15/20 mins. Some of his passes were quality, we have some great midfielders at the club. Diarra came on for the last 20 odd minutes as well, and did very well. He was likened to Makelele, he never really got a chance at Chelsea but I remember how intense he was in the CC final, was quality. He'll surely be glad that he left Chelsea before it was too late, especially with the recent events at Stamford Bridge. Song came on too and was decent, only thing he did wrong was to give a free kick away in a dangerous position, and Gilles Barnes, the Arsenal fan who said he wouldnt go to Sp*rs hit it at Almunia, who didnt have much to do.

So another good weekend for Arsenal by the looks of it, specially with Man Utd and Chelsea to play tommorow and Liverpool drawing today with Birmingham at home. £20+ million Torres couldnt come on and score past Brum, our whole team, who costs about that much put 5 past even if it was Derby we were playing. ( =D ) It looks like we've got a top top Arsenal side coming through. Lets hope our good form continues. 12 unbeaten in the premiership now and we'll top the table till next week at least, no matter how the other results go. The premiership table at the moment (Feels good looking at it doesnt it)

P GD PTS
1 Arsenal 6 11 16
2 Liverpool 6 9 12
3 Man City 6 3 12
4 Man Utd 6 2 11

5 Chelsea 6 1 11

AAAANDDD WAAAAAAAAAY AT THE BOTTOM: (Youve got to laugh, their fickle fans expected 3rd, 4th, some even put bets on for the title! Real funny scum fans)

18 Tottenham 6 -2 4

Lets hope United and Chelsea draw tommorow. United have had trouble scoring recently, but they've been winning, they've had four 1-0 wins in a row and Chelsea, without Mourinho may be disjointed but Im sure Terry wont let them lose this one, he'll have them up for this one and they'll do it for Mourinho. God Chelsea fans must be jealous, Arsenal playing football 'out of this planet' like Robin Van Persie said, infront of 60,000 every week, and Chelsea....well well well.

If there is a draw tommorow between Utd and Chelsea then both of them will have 12 points from 7 games so:

Arsenal 6 games 16 points
Liverpool 6 games 12 points
Utd 7 games 12 points
Chelsea 7 games 12 points
(Dont really expect City to be in the race, so lets just forget about them)

So we would be at an advantage, lets hope for a draw, and lets hope that the Arsenal keep going! Next premiership game is away at West Ham, where we lost last year, and had that whole fracas with their cunt of a manager, glad he's not in this league anymore. Our next game is against Newcastle in the CC on Tuesday. Im sure we'll see Bendtner, and lets hope he does well to save himself the embarrasment of mouthing off too early!

Gunners take on Derby

Should be an easy match I reckon. Derby are leaking goals the same way England leak runs in cricket. I reckon we should rest Cesc and give Denilson a chance.

What a chance for us. If United and Chelski draw and we win we'll be ahead 4 points with a GAME IN HAND.

Come on Arsenal!

More to come after the match.

Tottenham Hotsc*m 1-3 Arsenal

The game just finished and I practically want to jump around and shout: You f*cking deluded c*nts, where are you now?"

It was the same old story at the start as it usually is at sh*t hart lane, Sp*rs as usual scored first and at a set peice even though Arsenal had been the far superior side. Then Arsenal hit the bar and englands no 1 fat c*nt made a couple of saves and didnt choke surprisingly, until later on anyway. Arsenal had a few more chances in the first half, with Diaby hitting the bar after a good Arsenal move which led to Hleb passing him the ball into the penalty area and he sidefooted it onto the bar from about 9 yards out. Should've scored.

Then in the 2nd half Arsenal pressurised further, with Ade missing a coupla sitters. Things didnt seem to be going too well to be fair and it could've been 2-0 if not for an amazing block by our king kolo. Then Cesc played in a free kick and Adebayor was there to head it in, 1-1. Then Berbatov had a shot cleaerd of the line by Clichy and then on the counter attack the Arsenal thundered forward and Cesc hit a screamer from about 30 yards out and their fat usuelss slob couldnt' do anything about it. 2-1 to Arsenal. Sp*rs tried to come forward after that but no avail, Darren Bent came on and proved what a worthless £16m peice of sh*t he really is, he scuffed a shot wide when through on goal.

But the Arsenal werent done yet, on the counter attack after playing some delightful football comprising of one touches and clever flicks, Denilson had a chance but the fat c*nt saved it but then Adebayor picked the ball up into the air, swivelled and hit it on the volley into the far top corner and the obese ******* couldnt do anything about it, to be fair no keeper would've saved it but lets just abuse England no 1 sh*t anyway.

3-1 to Arsenal. Same old scummy sp*rs, 1-0 up after 60 mins, 3-1 down after 90. Same old same old. A good laugh the link below:

Come on the Arsenal. Top of the league.

The Scum vs Arsenal - Preview

I can't believe it I mean have you seen Spuds' predictions, some of them have us getting beaten 3-0, f****** hell every season, EVERY F****** year its the same thing, don't they ever f****** learn? Every bloody year its the same thing about how 'this year it will be Tottenham's year', 'this year we'll beat Arsenal'. I expect that the Spuds will get soundly beaten, no way they can beat our full 11. Last year had it not been for the woodwork THREE times the tossers would have been smashed in their backyard.

Come on Arsenal, F**k Tottenham.

What a start for Pakistan. A brave effort by Scots and they had me nervous, kept thinking of Ireland again. We kept our cool, Afridi was immense again but I was left shaking my head in confusion why did we have Misbah-ul-Haq in the team?

Anyway India on Friday, can't wait. Will be tough but I can see us just winning it.

Come on the Green Birgade!

Wenger signs new deal

Yes! Finally the news the Gooners have been looking for. I am elated, now all the distraction is finished and this will help the focus of the team in a big way. We NEEDED Wenger with us, after Henry we couldn't afford to lose him. Thank You Arsene. In you we trust.

Mourinho predicts ''open title race''

Being a tad being unrealistic Maureen. All right it can be said the other teams outside the Top 4 have some quality players but they lack sufficient depth and consistency but then again we all know Maureen and Chelski anyway, this is just his way of taking attention away from the sh*t performances of the Chelsea team and making excuses.

Another thing riling and pi*sing me off is the way Arsenal are STILL being written off. All the pundits seem to be glossing and drooling over Liverpoo while forgetting we have the same points as them and had it not been due to a Lehmann blunder we would have been on top. We took 11/18 points off the other 3 rivals last year compared to Chelsea's 7, Man Ure's 8 and Liverpoo's 6 so with a bit more consistency SURELY we can win the title.

Come on Arsenal.

p.s. I am also writing the same stuff on Mighty Arsenal blog just so if I am accused of leaching.

Young Gunners firing all cylinders, Pompey brushed aside 3-1

Haven't got words to describe this performence, it was truly magnificent. True the sending off left a bad taste in my mouth but even that couldn't have stopped the Gunners today. The Pompey defence were in tatters which then led to Ade's spot kick. Fabregas was immense, with his recent goal-scoring and creative prowess it is truly hard to believe that Cesc is only 20. It took Rosi's 3rd goal to wrap it all up. The win puts us level with Liverpool (1st) the only difference being goal difference. The major difference so far this season has been the goals scored by our midfield; which we so lacked last season.

With the Chavs losing and Man Ure lagging behind we have a superb opportunity to keep the momentum going and keep the focus and keep our noses ahead of our rivals.

Roll on the Scum on 15th, with their sh*t form and our confidence Tottenham won't know what hit them. The to**ers at White Hart Lane really thought they would match us this season, some of the deluded Spuds even thought they could win the title. Spuds, what a complete joke of a club.

Come on Arsenal!

Arsenal v Portsmouth: Pre-match news:

So for tommorows game against Pompey, we have several players sidelined and these include Gallas, Lehmann, Sagna, Eboue and possibly Hleb who is still a doubt because he has fallen ill.

We are going to have some of the old arsenal boys back, including two of our invincibles in Lauren and campbell. Lets see what sort of reception they get. Pompey last season gave all Arsenal fans a scare when they took a 2-0 lead shortly after half time, many thought that arsenal's unbeaten record at the emirates was going to come to an end, and in a game which we had once again dominated but failed to score in. Adebayor came on and changed the whole game. He scored a well taken goal and played a part in the 2nd goal, as soon as he came on the whole tempo of the game changed, and he got the crowd going. When will Arsenal fans realize that Adebayor is not here to get 30 + goals, he does a lot more for us than scoring goals.

Pompey havn't beaten Arsenal at our place since 50 years ago and since the prem started we've beaten them twice and our place and drawn two.

This will on no account be an easy game, Pompey have some decent players and some hugely experienced veterans who've played with the best, in other words seen this and done that. Hopefully Arsenal can complete a hattrick of games in which they dont concede first and hopefully we'll give a convincing performance.

Im going for a 2-0 win to the Arsenal. Adebayor and Fabregas to score!

Come on Arsenal!

Arsene surprises us once again:

Well Arsene managed to surprise all the footballing world once again by making a last gasp signing so few could predict. Arsenal have signed Chelsea's Lassana Diarra who can play in midfield or as a defender. He's 22 yrs old so we've got a young talented player at our hands who's going to add more depth to our squad. Lassana Diarra, who has also played for France in their Euro 2008 qualifiers. I remember how immense he was in the CC final. I thought he was very talented then too.

As a result of this signing some people are suggesting that this is going to be the end of Gilberto Silva, and maybe thats why he's had the captains armband taken off him. Im not too sure about this one.

I think Arsene's spent very cleverly in the previous transfer window. Lots of Arsenal fans wanted him to splash out millions to fill in the supposed 'gaping' hole Henry left but Arsene took his time and once again made some shrewd additions to the squad, by signing Eduardo, who's looked really good so far. Bakary Sagna, whos adapted to our style of play really quickly and has looked like a top class player, and how Wenger has signed Diarra from Chelsea, another quality player. All in all it was a good period. We've got other young players who add more depth to the squad, namely Diaby, Denilson, Flamini, not mentioning some of the youth players who we'll see in the CC this season, Lansbury, Merdia etc.

The only place I think we could still strengthen is our left wing position, but hey over the years we've certainly learnt one thing, no matter what, in Arsene we trust.

Arsenal 3-0 Sparta Prague

So Arsenal managed to get through this qualifying tie 5-0 on aggregate and 3-0 on thie night. Arsenal started attacking from the word go, at least for the first 7 mins when Walcott's low cross found Rosicky who cracked in the finish from about 10 yards. After that Arsenal took their foot of the pedal a bit and were just strolling casually through the game. Sparta had few chances and the arsenal defence was generally very good.

Then Wenger who looked to be frustrated from Arsenals continued casual play introduced Denilson, Fabregas and Adebayor and the whole pace of the game changed after that as Arsenal change their tempo. A cheeky bit of skill from Eduardo on the edge of the box led to him beating the defender and cutting it back for Cesc who was wearing a black armband in tribute of U21 teammate and friend Puerta, to hammer home from right in the 18 yard box. Then a good passing move right in the end led to Denilsons cross being finished by Eduardo like a true 'fox in the box' for his first ever goal for the club.

So a good win all in all and it was strage but very pleasing to see Arsenal finish off the few clear cut chances that we created! In other Arsenal news today the CL draw was made and Arsenal have ended up in a group with decent opposition but Arsenal should really go through.

Arsenal
Stea Bucharest
Sevilla /AEK Athens (2-0 on agg)
Slavia Prague.

I look forward to the games against Sevilla, who've won the UEFA for the last 2 seasons in a row.

RIP Antonio Puerta

Had been away on holidays.

Antonio Puerta: Rest In Peace. Our thoughts are with your family. Such a talented player who was only 22 and had a potentially glittering career and a whole life infront of him. Life is F'd up.

Arsenal play tonight, waste of time tbh. We've already won the away leg so I expect us to cruise. My prediction 2-0.

Bit surpirsed Wenger let Adriano go, I know he ain't as good a player he used to be but he still has immense talent and the physical prowess which we sometimes so lack. Saying that I think there is no chance he'll go to somewhere like West Ham or the Spuds, City may be a possibility.

Gunners sign da Silva

24 years old, decent goal-scoring record. He scored 34 times; a record in the Croatian league. Scored the first ever competitive goal at the Emirates. He also has scored 7 times in 11 appearences for Crotia. After all Henry was also a nobody at 24..

Another Wenger gem? Fingers crossed then eh..

Theirry Leaves

I ain't gonna pretend its doesn't hurt, I am gutted. But he's given it all for every minute he's been here. Without Henry Arsenal wouldn't have been feared by our rivals, without him I doubt we would have been champions in 2002, 2003, the glorious 49-er.

Good luck Theirry. With his class he'll have absolutely no problem adapting to La Liga.

Jose does it

Madrid win La Liga, Beckham deserved it. Arsenal's on-loan star Reyes scored two. Hope Madrid keep him, we get some cash and buy a good player.

Can't wait till the season begins. Its like hibernation...heard rumours that Arsenal are supposed to buy a 'star' tommrow. Will find out anyhow.

Come on Thierry say it for God's sake

The one thing pissing me off is why the hell is Henry quiet? I am sick and tired of this, last two summers it was Vieira, now its Henry. FFS if you don't want to stay then leave! Simple as! He is a legend; Arsenal fans will be grateful for everything he's given us, but this speculation unsettles eveyrone connected with Arsenal esp. the players who don't know whether their captain is staying or not...as some Arsenal fans have suggested: strip him of the captaincy; if this issues drags on and on. The Gunners want him to come and out and say, openly and honestly, whether he is leaving or not.

Another thing that takes the piss is the PCB's reaction to the Jamaican police. Why aren't the donkeys taking the wa*kers (Jamaican police) to court? The clowns have damaged our reputation all over the world. Why can't the PCB be run by clever people instead of morons?

Munich buy Ribery

Good buy from the Germans, we didn't need him anyway. Got too many wingers already, I hope we buy a DM though incase Gilberto gets injured.

I actually don't think we're gonna buy a player, rumours are we'll buy someone named Bakari (typical..) and Eboue will play at the wing. Good strategy since I think Eboue is absolutely wank defensively so a good move utilising his pace and skill on the wing.

Lmao...look at China's page:

Arsenal complete Fabianski signing

He looks good but I doubt he will be our first choice keeper, although I think Almunia may leave which means we could see a lot of Fabianski next year.

Tottenham fans are easily the most deluded souls on the earth. I have been reading some laughable material on their webiste about how signing a 17 year old has made them into a top four team and how they'll break into into the top four if we had a stinker of a season. Errmmm didn't we just had TWO? Sp*rs will always remain what they are: A mid-table mediocre team, our whipping boys. Carry on giving us the larfs, bloody to****s.

Inzaghi's strikes seal Liverpool's fate

Liverpool 1-2 AC Milan

What goes around comes around, 2 years ago Liverpool didn't deserve it this time it was Milan who were lucky. As us, Arsenal, have found out match after match how missing chances can be deadly it was Liverpool's own un-doing. Gerrard should have scored twice, Pennant was useless, his end product was pretty rubbish. All Liverpool had to show for their possesion was a single goal, that too offside.

Champions League Final

Liverpool vs AC Milan

A very close one to call. The key for Liverpool is to control and keep Milan's midfield esp Kaka under bay. Milan's main attention should be to keep Crouch under close eye, the unorthodox talent can be very dangerous; as the Gunners found out.
I won't be surprised if this goes to penalties again.

Pakistan 'same-sex' couple jailed
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/6679733.stm

Lmao...what a cock-up as if we didn't have any other problems, the courts should focus on the effing out-of-control crime and put the real b******s behind bars, who really deserve it; instead of wasting their time and resources into a harmless case and punishing people who don't really deserve it. See this is where I wish Pakistan was a secular country. I mean if someone wants to live like a poof ITS THEIR BLEEDING CHOICE! If someone doesn't want to follow Islam ITS THEIR CHOICE!

Eboue signs a long-term deal

Eboue has commited himself, he is a superb player and has the potential to be the best left-back in Europe. He is great going forward, his passes and pace are excellent but he needs to sort out his defending. Another Arsene-found Gem. BUt if I was Wenger I would play Hoyte RB and promote Eboue at the right wing. I really think Hoyte is worth another chance.

Big Sam has finally taken over at Geordies, which is the worst thing anyone can do. That club is cursed, if its not injuries its something else. They're seriosuly deluding themselves if they think Sam will win them anything. His boring long ball tactics aren't simply good enough and the best Newcastle will do is get into the top 6 and play crap in Europe, like Bolton have done. They need someone like Sven...yes Sven, who has won trophies, not someone whose only achivement is going into Europe and being knocked out over and over again. It'll be another long 50 years till the Toon win something again I am afraid..

Absolutely hilarious, Mourinhio got ARRESTED. Heard it was because of his dodgy Portugese dog. Like dog like you eh Jose...

Pirates' coming out on 25th May, such a sh*t timing, my exams start on Friday. The weather's gone crap again, the constant rain pisses me off

Pompey not Gunner go in Europe

Pompey 0-0 Arsenal

What a dire and a boring draw. Thank God the stream didn't work and I was spared a useless match. Baps missed chances again, although David James was superb as usual. We should have won through the penalty but we let 3rd spot slip again. Although I don't expect any more signings I and many other Gooners would love to have Tevez at Arsenal. The guy is a genuis. A superb player with bags of skills, pace, stamina and his physical presence who unsettled, as we saw, the Champions themselevs. But like always we'll end up getting a 15 year old from somewhere like Congo. But in Arsene we trust and we'll be stronger in 2 years time.

What a boring day its been. Am starving now, my little cousin's birthday in a couple of weeks. Haven't got a clue what to get a little 9 year old girl.

Looking forward to holidays after my grueling exam schedule..

Gunners take on Pompey

1-0 to us.

Should be a very good match. Shame Sol Campbell and Lauren aren't playing. Freddie should be fit (I think). Now if we score more than 3 goals and Liverpool score only one we should be able to finish 3rd. I hope Baptista stays, maybe next season he'll come good, I don't want that moaner Reyes coming back. We can't afford to have players who have no real interest in Arsenal playing for us. He'll just spoil all the team morale. I also hope we don't get Ribery, his scoring rate is even worse than Gilberto's but some Arsenal fans just want him for the sake of buying. We could do with another striker though. Shame Aliariere doesn't play, I really think he has the talent.

Just read on BBC how the Spuds chairman thinks Tottenham aren't a selling club. Deluded spuds. Last year how they went on and on about Henry leaving instead they had their greedy players (Carrick comes to mind) leaving on the first opportunity they got. Or Sol Campbell their captain coming to us a few years ago! They won't be the last, Berbatov will be next. Like Chelsea Spurs are a joke of a club. Like Chelsea Spurs are just a small failed, pathetic club with a little bit of money. I still remember reading how some of their fans wanted the Emirates burned down and all the Arsenal fans killed. I still don't get how those clowns can be considered our rivals. They haven't beaten us for 8 years, they haven't finished above us for 12 years. They're just a pathetic feeder club for the top guns.

Heard Sri Lanka will play a weakened team against Pakistan. Asif has also been made the vice captain. Strange decision...Whatmore is also interested in our job. The blinkered donkeys at PCB don't understand that no matter what coach they get unless they give every coach the full authority, our team will stay as a failure.

Exam on Friday. I have revised quite a bit. Still got one long month till they finish and then no college...

Yess...Gunners cost Chelsea the title

Gilberto opens the scoring

What a sweet sweet moment. We've won the title at Utd, Anfield and at Spu*s and we've just cost our 4th rival the title...priceless.

Congrats to Utd, they've had an amazing season.

Chelsea cry-boys

The game was even, I felt though Chelsea will nick it. At times we played the worst football I had seen at the Grove. We kept giving the ball away, missing chances and you cannot do that against Chelsea.

Anyway, exam on Wed, should be a walk in the park. I know Urdu so should be no problem. Exam next week on Friday, Geography. Will be glad once they finish, revision is so pissin boring.

Chelscum and Exams

First one next week on Wed. Have to go alllllll the way down to London for it. I will be so happy when the exams finish. Revision esp Maths does my head in.

Gunners take on Chelsea on Sunday.

At Arsenal:

Prem: Arsenal 9 wins, Chelsea 1, Draws 4

The one Chelsea win was last year. I think we will beat them this time. This year they have been extremely lucky. They only salvaged a point against us at the Bridge due to a superb Essien's once-in-a-life-time-goal; they got battered by our kids in the CC final yet they won. This time we'll shut up Jose. I wuld hate Chelsea to be the first arch-rival to win the Emirates. Mourinho would never shut up if Chelsea won.

3-0 to the Gunners.

Sunday, 29 April 2007

Gooners take it 3-1

'The Beast' scores (for once)

For once in my life I was annoyed and felt very sorry for Fulham when we scored, they dominated the second half and deserved AT LEAST a point. With them playing like that I hope they don't go down. The one thing I was happy about is someone bleeding putting the ball in the back of the net, the finishing which led to the second goal is what we have been crying out for the season. With Baps missing sitters for the umpteenth time again I was very worried whether we would score more than one. Credit to Fulham, they played their hearts out. We've still got an eye on that 3rd place, next week its Chelsea...

So, the Ozzies did it again. I wonder; are they supernatural? They thrashed another team again in the final. Credit to Sri Lanka for putting up more of a fight than Pakistan and India. In all honesty they match should have been played today, at least it should have been for full 50 overs. Finally; the final closes the curtain on the farcical world cup. Its been a right shambles, start from finish. Congratulations to the Ozzies, they deserve it. So four more long years then..I hope the next WC for Pakistan lasts a bit longer than 4 days..

And so I was wrong

Roone..Shrek scores 2 against Milan

Rest assured Milan will go to the final.

So, at least one of my predictions was right; Sri Lanka coast into the final by outclassing the Kiwis. With S.Africa choking like they have always done; the final between Aus and SL should be a thriller. This team my money are on SL but no-one other than Aus deserves to be champion simply because no-one can be as consistent as they have for the last 7 years or so.

Man Ure set to be thrashed

Milan's Kaka: The Highest goalscorer in the CL this year.

Milan and Ancoletti must be having larfs over the team Man Ure are going to put out. Aside from Scholes and Ronaldo and perhaps Giggs Man Ure pose no threat to the Italians. O'Shea and Fletcher are going to be in defence, Kaka MUST be licking his lips. O'Shea is the most useless garbage Ive ever seen, barring Ramage he is the worst 'defender' in the Premiership. The only thing Milan have to be careful about is the counter-attacking threat of United. Ahhh Man Ure losing to Milan, Man Ure losing to Chelsea, Man Ure surrendering the EPL --> Man Ure left trophyless...will make my season. I am firmly backing the Kop to beat Chelsea and lift the trophy. They deserve it.

Turning my attention to the Gunners; there were rumours that former ''Monaco general manager Henri Biancheri would consider the new role of Arsenal director of football'' according to the BBC. Anyone Arsene Wenger chooses would be good enough for everyone.

Pakistan have started advertsing for a new cricket coach, with John Wright and Tom Boon the favs. Frankly this time I want a Pakistani, someone like Aaqib Javed who has won 2 world cups with the U19's. Sri Lanka play NZ today for the Semis. I think SL may just edge this out and if they do they may provide a stern test for whoever wins the other semi (Aus and S.Africa).

SCUM 2-2 ARSENAL

Tottenham started off the match at a fast and frantic pace. They definately had the first half. But then came the Gunners, the most reselient team in the Premiership. Fabregas rang rings around thier defence, with Rosi and Hleb supporting Ade at the front. They were a joy to watch. We were hammering the Scum on their terrority. Then came the equaliser by King Kolo, with Ade's goal just 10 mins after that, it seemed the Gunners had sealed the match. I laughed all the way by some of the chants I had heard by the Gunners. ''Lasagne ohhhh Lasagne'' and ''Are you Tottenham in disguise?' rang out, while their 'support' sat quietly and yet they had the audacity to call our ground a library. Then Anus (Jenas) equalised in the dying seconds and the Scum celebrated like they had won the league or something. Their star man Berbatov was disgusted by the celebrations, he had good reason to be, he must think ''Where the f**k have I ended up?'' We hit the woodwork 3 times, had a perfectly good goal dissallowed and had almost sealed 4th place beofrehand anyway regardless of the result, and so a draw did us no harm. We've already beaten the Scum thrice this season so we had nothing to prove. Spuds on the other hand were outplayed and smashed on their own turf, their Europeon hopes are in jeopardy. They may end up in 9th place, in the mid-table mediocrity they belong in.

8 years and 18 games..still counting, the gaps is getting ever so big..the Glory will always be on the Red Side of North London..
