Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal

Arsenal went to Anfield for their supposed 'first test' of the season, other fans had been trying to undermine our good start by trying to say we've not played anyone good yet.

They forgot Blackburn away,West Ham away, Sp*rs away, Sevilla at home, and now Anfield away. We didnt lose any of these games but infact only drew 2 of those, and both we deserved to win, had it not been for Lehmann in the former and bad luck in the latter, with Fabregas and Eboue hitting the post. Admittedly we should've put the rebounds away but we Fabregas and Bendtner couldnt finish into an empty net. One could say that the ball came back at them too fast. Anyway we had 66% of the possession, at ANFIELD, and we were playing a team who was supposed to challenge for the title this season. Never have I seen such negative tactics from a supposed top club, they were time wasting and cheating from the word go, their long ball tactics even made Bolton look attractive at times. And they undeservedly went up 1-0 at HT.

We came out after the interval, and played much like we had in the first half. Eboue hit the post, and Fabregas blasted the rebound wide. But then we scored in the 80th minute, with superb play from hleb who found a quality pass to slip on Fabregas who toe poked it home to make it a deserved 1-1. Then a few minutes later Fabregas hit the post from a long range effort, and the rebound fell to Bendtner who blasted it over from about 8 yards. We should've put those chances away, but you cant be too disappointed with a draw at anfield, but what frustrates us is that we should have won the game.

Next up for Arsenal is Sheffield United in the CC tommorow, and we will see Gilberto playing despite whatever the media is trying to cook up to unsettle us. I think we'll have too much for them. And our next game in the premiership is a big one against champions United. Should be a cracker of a game, and winning against them would really put us in a good position.

Arsenal 2-0 Bolton

Just finished watching the Arsenal game and another efficient performance from Arsenal. We dominated the game throughout and Bolton never looked like scoring, at all. They were a pathetic excuse for a footballing side in all honesty, and its a shame that they play in Europe, giving the EPL a bad name. They reverted back to their old kicking tactics, but this team is stronger than before, mentally especially, and it didnt seem to work, especially in the second half. In the first half we didnt really create many chances, and it seemed to look like that the Int'l break was having its effects, our older teams in the past always used to struggle after an International break, and this team seemed to be following that route in that particular trend. So we looked a bit off in the first half, and Eboue didnt seem to be too convinving on the right hand side. We had two half chances, and Adebayor blazed over. In the first half we had 7 shots overall, to Boltons 0 and 56% possession.

We came out more strongly in the second half and Eboue should've scored but he blazed wide from about 10 yards. Then we had a free kick, about 27 yards away from goal, and Kolo stepped beside Fabregas and Flamini. We've seen Kolo have a try and shoot from those sort of areas, and we've seen him come close, shave the bar, and hit the top of the stands. But this time he actually got it in! Throught a whole crowd of players. A really good goal. 1-0 up! Bolton tried to show a bit more urgency and brought on a few of their supposed attacking players, but they didnt pose any more of a threat. Arsenal had brought on Rosicky and Walcott when it was 0-0 in order to get a goal. And Walcott especially looked really dangerous, he went past several players and showed tremendous ball control and pace, he was awesome. Rosicky showed some good touches too, but he marked his comeback with a goal. Hleb fired in a good 15 yard pass, and Walcott controlled it well, took it wide, beat Campo with quick feet, and crossed it in for Rosicky who cleverly finished to make it 2-0. After that we were just passing and humiiliating the bastards. Adebayor missed several chances in the 2nd half, especially when he was put through by Fabregas from a brilliant pass, but he took it well wide and then strangely fell over.

All in all a good performance and we thoroughly outplayed them. They had a pathetic 1 shot all game, and that was off target. We had 65% of the possesion, and 19 shots on goal with 10 on target. A good performance by Arsenal, and we're still top. United are playing at the moment and are winning 2-1 against Villa.

Come on Villa!

Arsenal 3-2 Sunderland

This was one of the hardest home games we've played since we moved into our new stadium, because Sunderland just never ever game up. On the 6th minute mark, Diaby rifled in a good shot from just outside the area, but the ref decided to give us a free kick instead, due to a foul on Fabregas just outside the area in the build up. Van persie stepped up to take it, Van persie hadnt scored from a free kick this season whereas he had several in last season. He rifled an unstoppable thunderbolt into the top left corner, 1-0 to Arsenal and there was nothing the keeper could have done about it even though it was on side.

Arsenal scored again soon after, a corner was cleared to Adebayor on the edge of the area, who crossed in and Senderos scuffed his shot in from about 9 yards out. 2-0 up after 16 minutes, and we were looking great. Some people were wondering if this was going to be our famous 7-0 wins, and it could have been if Diaby's goal hadnt wrongly been ruled out for offside a couple of minutes later. Instead Sunderland pulled one back to make it 2-1 and I never thought they'd pull a 2nd back, but they did after the half time break. I was worried for a moment that we'd lose this one somehow, but Van the man wouldn't let that happen, good work from Walcott on edge of the area, turned brilliantly and crossed in for Van Persie who showed a really good touch and finished it to make it 3-2. Though Sunderland nearly equalised to make it 3-3, we held on. McShane was sent off rightly for a bad challenge on Hleb, though Hleb's fine thankfully. Other than our goals, Walcott hit the post, Toure hit the post.

Good win all in all, and thats 10 win a row. We're 2 pts clear of utd again with a game in hand, and Liverpool just drew with Sp*rs, Spurs as usual choking, with their fat c*nt in goal flapping at shots and crosses again. So now Liverpool are 6 pts behind us having played the same number of games, and Spurs look to be moving out of the relegation zone, on goal difference. Top 4, they were having a laugh.

Now a fortnight till our next game, which is Bolton at home. Liverpool's next 2 games are Everton away and us at home, it could really make or break their title challenge.

So at the end of another weekend, Arsenal still top the table. Come on you gooners.
